WhatMUG was founded in 1990 in Bellingham, WA as a user group devoted to furthering knowledge about Apple computers. Today, our club has evolved into an active organization of computer users enthusiastic about virtually everything and anything Macintosh. WhatMUG is recognized by Apple Computer as a Macintosh User Group.

Our MISSION is To create a community forum for “Mac” users in Whatcom County and beyond to come together to learn, share knowledge, resolve problems and have fun using Macintosh computers in daily life.

Membership in WhatMUG means "Give a little; Get a LOT". We are all volunteers and we encourage participation. We conduct monthly meetings in the Bellingham area. We also offer an Email Discussion List where members can talk with other members about “Mac” related topics. The club sponsors Special Interest Groups (SIG's) on topics such as Digital Photography and Graphic Design.
