What is WhatMUG?
WhatMUG is Whatcom County's premier Macintosh User Group. WhatMUG is about people helping people learn all about using their "Mac". Membership in our club means "Give a little; Get a LOT". Meetings feature question-and-answer help sessions, informative presentations, raffle drawings software, hardware, books and other treats, and lot’s of tips, techniques and shortcuts for better computing. We also share information with members about special events, product discounts and club sponsored workshops.

When and Where are the meetings?
General club meetings have been held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:0pm to 8:30pm. Due to library hours we are now moving to 6:00pm. For location go to our Home page.
How much is a membership?
Membership dues are collected at sign up and annually. Beginning January 1, 2004, annual membership dues are: Student ($20/yr.); Individual ($25/yr.); Household ($35/yr.). For more information about member benefits and how to join, go to " Membership".

How do I join the club?
Fill out a Membership Form at a meeting, or download the pdf file (click here) and mail it in with your dues payment.

How do I join the WhatMUG EMAIL DISCUSSION LIST?

In an attempt to improve communication amoung WhatMUG members, we've instituted a club EMAIL DISCUSSION "LIST". An email List (sometimes called a “Listserv”) is an automated email program that distributes messages sent to a central address to all subscribers. The List provides a way for WhatMUG members to communicate quickly, easily and informally to facilitate club activities and obtain advice on computer related issues. We will also use it to communicate announcements (products discounts, special events, etc.). The big advantage of an email List is that it's available all the time. Only club members who have subscribed to the List will able to send and receive List email. All members in good standing are eligible to join the "LIST". For instructions on how to join the LIST, click here to download a pdf file: (LIST Instructions).

Why can't I access the "Members Only" pages?

Membership has it's privileges! In the near future, some pages on our website will be designated for MEMBERS ONLY. These pages contain information for members only, such as software reviews and special articles. If you are a member, you will be able to access these pages via a password. You can obtain a password by joining WhatMUG. If you are already a member but don't have a password, please email membership@whatmug.org. You can fill out a Membership Form at a meeting or by downloading the pdf file (click here for file) and mailing it in with your dues payment.

How can I contact someone?
